10/5 The 20th anniversary celebrations of Silver Light Elderly Association and the 8th anniversary celebration of Paradise Nursing Center were successfully completed at St. Ann’s Anglican Church. Participating guests include: Deputy Director of Development Department of the Representative Office, Director of Fairfax Health Department, Director of Community Health Department, Senior Community Health Commissioner, Mayor of Herndon, Chairman of Haihua Activity Center, CEO of Tzu Chi Washington, President of the Washington Book Club, Chairman of the North American Chinese Parents Association, two CEOs, Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Herdon Board of Directors, Social Worker Manager of Hunter Apartments, Community Manager of Lake Anne Apartments, Assistant Director of Pimmit Senior Center, all Congratulations on the spot.
The deputy director of the Development Department of the Office of the Representative of Representatives issued a “Congress Special Recognition Certificate” to Yinguang, recognizing Yinguang’s outstanding and supreme service to the community. Representatives of past presidents accept this honor.
Mayor Hunton issued a letter of thanks to yinguang for its special contributions to the elderly and communities in China over the past 20 years, enhancing and improving the quality of life of the elderly. Accepted by all representatives of the 10th session of directors.
The 10th Board of Directors presented a pennant of thanks to the park, “To show true love, to respect the elderly, and to take care of them as if they were relatives.”
The park donated NT$10,000 to Silver Light to provide the largest financial support for future activities and various operations.
Each Silver Light branch and activity group provides 14 performances. The celebration lasted for two and a half hours and ended successfully.
